Food Therapy Tip of The Day – Ginger has many therapeutic uses!

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) is known as sheng jiang in Oriental Medicine.  It is used in herbal formulas as a powerful detoxifier, anti-inflammatory and to alleviate cold and flu symptoms. Ginger can also help relieve digestive disturbances and pain.

Consuming ginger tea daily can maintain vitality and prevent nausea.

Ginger may interact with other medications.  Please consult with your Acupuncturist, Herbalist or other medical provider to ensure it is the right herb for you.
